Our Story: From a Single Vision to a Statewide Celebration

The Central Carolina Wedding Expo was born in 2022 with a simple yet passionate mission: to bridge the gap between talented local wedding professionals and couples looking to create a celebration as unique as their love story. What started as an intimate, once-a-year spring showcase has quickly blossomed into the region’s most anticipated bridal event.

Over the past few years, we have been honored to help over 5,000 brides and their families navigate the complexities of wedding planning. We believe that every couple deserves access to expert advice and inspiration regardless of their budget, which is why we are proud to offer free general admission to all of our attendees.

In 2025, our parent company, LWood Media Group, recognized the incredible demand for more planning opportunities across North Carolina. To meet that need, we officially doubled our calendar. Starting in 2026, the Central Carolina Wedding Expo now hosts two premier shows per year—one in the spring and one in the fall—traveling to a variety of stunning venues across the state.

While our roots remain in providing a free community resource, we’ve also introduced an optional VIP Experience for those looking to elevate their day. This premium pass offers personalized guidance from expert planners and exclusive lounge access, ensuring that whether you are just starting your journey or putting on the finishing touches, we have a path designed specifically for you.
